Sales Executive (Local)

Primarily telesales-based, the IDL way is to establish productive and mutually beneficial relationships with small to medium sized regionally-based businesses which would benefit from IDL's services.
The approach is consultative:- as an expert in both digital and specifically mobile marketing, the IDL exec will seek to understand the business needs, requirements and budgets of the client before offering a range of solutions to match those needs.
The exec will then ensure the delivery of those solutions, selected from the range of products in the IDL portfolio, as well as offering a post-sale customer back up. This will form the basis of an ongoing account relationship & service.
His/her responsibility will be to achieve the KPI's set on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis for sales activity, accounts secured and revenues generated.
Working as part of team, with both team and individual targets to meet, the efforts will be focused on regional and business sector activity. i.e. there will be an area / city to cover within a regional team as well as sector campaigns, for example independent garden centres in Spring. The prime activity will be phone-based but will include field trips and client meetings when and where appropriate. Leads will be sourced from in-bound queries as well as cold calling.
Execs will also be encouraged and expected to help lead business innovation, product development and the delivery of the overall objectives of the business.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead sourcing and generation
- Achievement of KPI's on call rates, customer numbers and revenue.
- To plan and prioritise sales activities and customer/prospect contact towards achieving agreed business aims, including costs and sales - especially managing personal time and productivity.
- Plan and manage business portfolio/territory/business according to an agreed market development strategy.
- Maintain knowledge of current product and services offerings to maximize sales opportunities and benefit to client.
- Maintain and develop existing and new customers through appropriate propositions and ethical sales methods, and relevant internal liaison, to optimise quality of service, business growth, and customer satisfaction.
- Creation and maintenance of appropriate client records.
- Record relevant information resulting from calls made to prospects/customers by updating system tools/databases and managing the sales pipeline.
- Respond to and follow up sales enquiries using appropriate methods.
- Monitor and report on market and competitor activities and provide relevant reports and information.
- Attend training and to develop relevant knowledge, techniques and skills.
- Adhere to health and safety policy, and other requirements relating to care of equipment.

As an application developer, you will be tasked with developing our client's flagship product, a well-established app that provides discount vouchers to over one million users.
Joining a specialist multi-disciplinary team, you will be responsible for updating and improving our product.
To be considered for this position, you must have a minimum of 2 years' experience of developing apps in the Android marketplace and we will need to see examples your work. Must have apps in appstore.

The ideal Android Developer will have experience of developing in Java and an understanding of web services APIs and technologies.
