Elemis Tri-Enzyme Resurfacing Facial Wash Review

Elemis face wash

RRP: £29.00
Gorgeous Price: £23.20

First let me say that that this is an ‘anti-aging’ product, and I am a mere 22 years of age. I’d like to think that I have a good three years before I need to start considering wrinkles, so I will judge this product as a face wash alone; in which case it was rather nice.

It foamed up well, but not so much that you feel like your drowning in a bubble bath. It smells fresh, clean and soapy without being too strong. £27.60 seems somewhat steep for a clean face, but if the anti-aging part really works then why not ey?

DuWop Reverse Lip Liner Review

duwop lipliner

Gorgeous Price £15

So the idea of this nifty little number; is to put it around the outside of your lips before applying lipstick in order to stop that scary old lady effect when your red lipstick starts bleeding into your face cracks. And I must say this does actually work! Or it did for me anyway.

Personally it gave me the fear of getting moustache spots, but if you’re not prone to break outs like me then I’d say give it a bash!

Elemis Pro-Collagen Oxygenating Night Cream Review

elemis pro collagen cream

RRP £95
Gorgeous Price £76
According to the box this magical (and outrageously expensive) cream will get more oxygen into your skin, making it firmer and fresher, and slowing down that dreaded age process. On first impressions I have to say I’m not impressed with the packaging, for £95 I would expect a solid gold pot with a diamond encrusted lid, but this actually looks a little cheap. The cream itself is of a very thick and rich texture and felt very heavy on my skin, which is why I immediately took it off for fear of those previously mentioned break outs.

Elemis do however do a skin care range for younger skin which I hear is rather fabulous, designed for teenagers to early twenties which you can check out here.

GLAMGLOW Mud Mask Review

glamglow mud mask
RRP £49.95
Gorgeous Price £38.95

As you can see by the picture I went all in on this one, (scared my boyfriend half to death in the process) and I LOVED it! It’s thick and gritty and has huge pieces of green tea leaves in and it looks like a proper mud mask. None of that pealing PVA glue type stuff, this is the real deal!

After about a minute of having it on it starts to tingle, quite a lot actually, but as it dries the tingling subsides and let me tell you my skin afterwards felt AMAZING! 10/10 for you Glamglow!

KMS California SilkSheen Styling Creme Review

KMS silk sheenRRP £15.50
Gorgeous Price £10.85

This is a leave in conditioner type product, very lightweight and makes your hair smell like it does when you come out of the hairdressers. I have very unruly and thick hair and have tried tonnes of this kind of product, so I could tell just by looking at the texture that it wouldn’t be one for me.

I’m a big fan of oil based hair products that weigh down my hefty locks. This product I imagine would be better suited to someone with naturally fine and reasonably well behaved hair.

Gatineau Activ Eclat Flash Radiance Serum Review

Gatineau face serum
Gorgeous Price £44

This face serum promises an ‘intense natural glow’, and I must say it did give me a certain extra something when I applied it under my make-up. It smells great as well, quite fruity and fresh, and it has a lovely silky texture that feels very light on the skin. Overall I’d say it’s a winner!
