Can I drive someone else’s car and be covered with Swiftcover Car Insurance?
Check section 5 of your certificate for this sentence. If you find it, you are covered: “The policyholder only may also drive a car not owned by them or hired to them under a hire purchase agreement and which is not used in connection with the motor trade”. Drivers under 25 and in certain occupations cannot be covered. You must have the owners permission and the car must be insured. Full details here.
Can I drive my car abroad with Swiftcover Car Insurance?
For no extra cost, all UK car insurance policies provide third party cover to drive in EU countries. To enjoy comprehensive cover abroad, log into your Swift Space.
