Bunnings Warehouse began back in 1887 when two brothers emigrated from England to settle in Perth, Australia. Winning a series of government contracts, they began focussing on sawmilling and timber distribution and it wasn’t until 1952 that the company purchased several hardware stores. Since then it has expanded to become the major hardware retailer in Australia and New Zealand, and is expanding across Europe and the UK. With an enormous range of tools, decorating supplies, gardenware, storage and more, it’s your go-to store for taking care of your home.
It also boasts a number of in-store services including timber cutting, colour matching, engraving and tool hire. It’s even got a number of how-to guides that are indispensable whether you’re a DIY expert or novice. Its megastores have everything you need in one place, including up to 30,000 products on display, so you can forget about traipsing around multiple stores looking for what you need: it’s all right here!
