Will my RAC breakdown cover start straight away?
Yes! As long as you haven't already broken down, roadside cover will be activated for the first 24 hours - after that, your full coverage will kick in. If you've already broken down, it's best to give the team a call on 0330 159 8743 to talk through your options.
How much does RAC breakdown cover cost?
Breakdown cover starts from as low as £9 a month for one vehicle standard coverage. To cover more vehicles or people, upgrade your plan or include add-ons, you'll pay a bit more!
What is the difference between RAC vehicle cover and personal cover?
If you're the car owner, vehicle cover will mean your car is covered in cases of breakdown, no matter who is driving. This can be available for up to three vehicles on one plan.
If you're a driver, personal cover means you're covered in any vehicle, whether you're the driver or a passenger. This can be available for up to five people in one household.
How can I renew my breakdown cover?
