How you can dress like Holly Willoughby on a budget09 May 2018
For a busy mum with a full-time TV career, Holly Willoughby always keeps her style on point. Granted that’s easy when you have a top-drawer stylist and a glam squad on standby but still, she takes high street pieces and makes them look amazing. We’re a little bit in awe and we’re going to try and work out how she does it.
Her stylist explains that they’re a massive fan of specific styles from certain brands, John Lewis or M&S are fantastic for soft and comfy jumpers, L.K.Bennett is great for tailoring and Jigsaw is a great call for coats and skirts. You’ll also regularly see H&M, Topshop, Massimo Dutti, Next, Warehouse, Topshop and Office pop up in the Holly Willoughby clothes This Morning wardrobe.
Making the most of her hourglass figure
The number one piece of advice when trying to up your style is to work with your body shape. She has an amazing hourglass figure and suits fitted, tailored shapes. She’s a great lover of colour too so chooses gorgeous, well-made pieces that really work for the show. Look at this top-to-toe look from Topshop (discount codes available on vouchercloud.
You often see Holly making the most of her great legs with a mini to knee-length skirt and a gorgeous well-fitting jumper. We like this pink blush number currently on sale with L.K. Bennett. It’s pricey compared to some of the high-street alternatives but is an investment for the future. If not you can rock a similar look with these great-value round-neck jumpers from Marks and Spencer.
Keep it simple
The recurring theme across many of Holly’s looks is simple elegance. She looks amazing in a straightforward crisp blouse and pencil skirt. It’s simple, unfussy and practical for a day in front of the camera which could include anything from cooking to chasing the dog to fending off fits of giggles from the silver fox Phillip Schofield.
As you crawl through her looks promo you’ll see she often chooses brands like M&S for these basics. Check out their basic white shirts online and check in for discount codes before you purchase. We also love this Debenhams pencil skirt that’s an absolute steal and pulls off Holly’s look perfectly.
Keep it classy
We’re sad to see the demise of the Holly Willoughby collection/clothing range that she launched with Very in 2013 but that doesn’t mean her look is difficult to achieve. She’s a big fan of classic pieces from brands like Boden or Joules. Here she’s rocking an absolute wardrobe staple with a classy little black dress which will serve you well across the seasons. Here’s one we love.
Dress it up
We just love this tea-dress style piece that Holly rocks with a gorgeous and elegant chignon that shows off her great legs and cheekbones. It’s one you’ll see her come back to again and again and it’s no surprise – it’s a fantastic look for those with an hourglass figure. Get the look on the high street with this dress from Wallis which fits and flares to keep you looking amazing in all the right places. If you want to keep up to date with all of Holly’s latest looks then follow her on Instagram, she often posts pics of what she’s wearing that day for all her fashion fans. All in all, Holly manages to walk the line between fashion and affordable and we adore her for it. And with vouchercloud it’s even easier to cash in on discounts with top brands. Happy shopping!
