Chris started running at the age of 26 when he joined a local running group and, needless to say, he’s never looked back. After building his level up, he ended up running in the New York City Marathon where he was inspired by the quality of the local retailers. So he and his wife, Judy, came together in 1982 to found the very first Runners Need in London’s Camden Town. The couple continued on to smash their goals, opening 34 Runners Need stores nationwide and encourage over 2 million people to train, run and race on the road.
