How can I check in for my Virgin Atlantic flight?
Check in online using Virgin Atlantic’s mobile-friendly site, between 24 hours and 70 minutes before departure. This will issue you your boarding pass and give you option to select your seat. Alternatively, download the Virgin Atlantic app and check in there, check in at an automated airport kiosk, or check in the old-fashioned way, at the terminal, up to one hour before departure.
I have an early Virgin Atlantic flight, can I check my bags in the night before?
With Virgin Atlantic’s Twilight Check In service, you can drop your bags off the night before, get your beauty sleep, then turn up in the morning with your boarding pass, up to 50 minutes before boarding. It couldn’t be easier. Please note, Twilight Check In is available at London Gatwick only.

Starting out as a small record store in Notting Hill Gate, Virgin have expanded to become one of the world’s most iconic and recognisable brands, with Virgin Atlantic one of the best-loved premium British airlines. Taking off in 1984 with just one (borrowed) aeroplane, by the end of the 80s Virgin had amassed a fleet of Boeing jets and flown well over a million passengers. From the onset Virgin Atlantic have been changing the game, being the first airline to offer their customers individual TVs, a feature now standard on all long-haul flights. Today, the world-class airline is looking to the future, making huge steps towards becoming more environmentally sustainable. You might not notice that they’ve invested billions to develop new, carbon-neutral fuels, though, because your flight will be as slick and as comfortable as ever. No surprise, then, that the World Travel Awards recently named them Europe’s leading airline to North America. Wherever you’re headed, and whatever class you’re flying there in, Virgin Atlantic can promise you a smooth ride. With Virgin Atlantic, one thing’s for sure, change is in the air.
