More about Papa John's
The idea for Papa John’s came about back in 1972 when a teenager called John Schnatter first started cooking pizzas for the customers of his dad’s tavern in Indiana. When his dad’s business was about to go bust, John sold his car to keep it afloat and began delivering pizzas from the back of the bar. By 1985, the eager young chef had opened up his own pizzeria in Jefferson, Indiana and by the end of 1992, the business had grown into a franchise with over 100 outlets. A decade later, the company started offering online ordering, and Papa John’s became known for the quality of its pizzas and the convenience of its delivery options.
