With two-thirds of the UK using glasses or corrective lenses, it’s hardly surprising that the founder of Speckyfoureyes.com decided to launch an online glasses retailer at the humble age of 23. Back in 2004, Andre Senyk founded the company while he was still in his third year of university and launched it from a small room in his parents’ home. A few years later the small room was not quite cutting it, and the company set up premises. Senyk noticed the markup of high street opticians and was driven to creating a platform for good quality, affordable glasses.
After a decade of consistent success, Specky Four Eye are committed to giving back to the community, and are a part of the Vision Aid project, sending tested prescription glasses overseas to help communities in developing communities. Send your old glasses in by post to contribute to the cause and help Specky Four Eyes and Vision Aid improve the lives of the disadvantaged overseas.
