Prime members get first dibs on the best Black Friday offers, including Amazon’s ‘Lightning Deals’. You can sign up for a 30-day free trial if you haven’t had an account before, which will grant you all the same perks as a paying member.
2. Or sign up for Prime Student, if you’re eligible.
Students can get a free six-month trial to bag Black Friday discounts. After this, it’s only £3.99 per month for all of the perks of a regular Prime account. You’ll get special student offers and discounts too—score!
3. Add items to your watchlist before the sales start.
Start working on your wishlist in advance to streamline your shop when the discounts hit.
4. Turn on notifications so you don’t miss out.
If you’ve got the Amazon app, you can turn on notifications for “Your Watched & Wishlisted Deals”. This is a must for bagging those Lightning Deals before they get snapped up.
5. Select 'No-rush delivery' to bag account credit.
If you can bear waiting an extra day or two for your delivery, opt for the 'No-rush' option—you'll be rewarded with a discount or account credit to use on future orders. Score!
